We’re passionate about supporting families through difficult times.

The DFK ANZ network has been supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities for many years. Located at major children’s hospitals, the Houses provide a safe, comfortable home away from home for families that have children receiving medical care.

Our closest House is Randwick, at the Sydney Children’s Hospital. Since opening in 1991, Ronald McDonald House Randwick (RMHR) has provided a home away from home for 32 families a night, every night. They also provide all the facilities that you would have at home, so families can travel light.

Home For Dinner

The team at DFK Laurence Varnay takes part in the Ronald McDonald House Randwick’s ‘Home for Dinner’ whenever possible. At this event, a team prepares, cooks and serves dinner for families staying at the House that night. With diverse menus such as roast chicken, beef sausages, salads, steamed vegetables and vegetarian carbonara, along with sides of fried rice and garlic bread – the families keep coming back for more! We like to finish our offering with fruit platters, berry sorbet and ice cream.

RBC Race for the KidsRonald McDonald House Randwick

DFK Laurence Varnay enters a team into the RBC Race for the Kids in support of Ronald McDonald House Randwick. Together, with the support of our staff, clients and personal friends, we often raise over $800.

The 2018 RBC Race for the Kids was supported by over 800 participants and raised over $110,000. The funds will be used by Ronald McDonald House Randwick to renovate their isolation unit and create a family sanctuary space.

Every year, DFK ANZ proudly makes an annual $10,000 donation to RMHC.

Ronald McDonald Donation Box

Our office, at 222 Pitt Street, Sydney, has a donation box on our front reception desk and in our kitchen. Our staff and clients generously donate their spare change into these boxes. All change goes to Ronald McDonald House Randwick to support them in providing their valuable service.
